My Computer

Japanese / Fun, KAMEDA, Other Members, Minoh Lab 1997/1/4, 2000/06/20
I use Panasonic CF-A44 (purchased in Dec,1998) now. Its specification is MMX-Pentium266MHz,128MB,8.4GB(exchanged in 1999 Spring, originally 4.3GB). I'd like to keep this PC as long as my previous PC.

I love my first PC (see below). Now the battery is out and Y2K problem has occured on it, I still use it to make a back-up copy of Wiz(PA-Z700) data.

I use a subnote PC/AT computer named Super Slim Subnote (Domestic model in Japan and its constructor went bankrupt). I bought it in Feb/1994.

I installed Windows95 and Linux(1.2.13) on this machine. Windows95 partition is 196MBytes including netscape, MS works, PowerPoint etc. Linux partion is 295MBytes and it includes mule, X windows, latex, ghostview, on-line-dictionary and so on. I use this computer for writing documents, C programs (compile test and debug), memoes of academic conferences.
